Never ignore a gut feeling, but never believe that it’s enough.

“She said, ‘You’re just a letdown, another one of my mistake, I never loved you anyways, I never did and never will.”

Sometimes the things people say verbally to you can be like a pinky promise. You don’t even have to say “I promise…” or “I swear” to make it binding. Just the simple statements shared and agreed between two people is binding. And when that person goes around and their action speaks otherwise. That’s when it hurts. That’s when you catch them and realize bond, a promise has been broken. And then in that moment you have to decide how you’re going to react to it. So what do I do now? I move on and let it go. Cause it is honestly exhausting. A major conundrum just trying to understand what went wrong. The who what where when why. It’s all unnecessary when there’s a whole path laid out there for me to journey through.
